no.8 (martin creeds work no.88)

creating as many of martin creed's, one of my favourite living persons, work no. 88 as i can in the time period. i made 93. on completion, these 93 objects created numerous other possibilities of what they could become.

no.7

an attempt at mixing as many colours as possible in 22 minutes from only the primary colours, not changing the water or the pallet

no.5 (all the artists in one book)

i read a book about conceptual art. this was all the artists that had pictures in said book. this is what i thought, presently, past or knew of each. the first thing that popped into my head.

no.4 (bolts found on the floor)

all the bolts found on the floor whilst working in a wool factory. not as bad as the banana farm, but pretty shite.

no.3 (not even remotely interesting, and my orange pen is ruined)

squares n stuff

no.2 (ivan nikolaevich ponyrev/homeless)

based upon a character from 'master and magarita' by bulgakov

the idea

22 minutes(ish). the average length of a tv show, such as the simpsons, or friends, or something else that you watch, which you've seen before, but still watch. its not new. its kind of entertaining, but you rarely laugh. i watch these shows. i'm not sure why, but i do. i completed a fine art degree 2 years ago. since which art making hasn't really happened. so, whilst working on a banana farm in north queensland i decided that i'd make art again. so this is me making an art. within the time constraints of 22 minutes. they may be finished, they may not, they may be good, they may not. its an ongoing project. we'll see what happens. if you are looking at this and want to comment, please be honest.

no.1 (self portrait)

no.1 (self portrait), is simply that. done in acrylic on a 12"x12" canvas.
